Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Pads 13 and 14 are stuck to the side part of an opening 12b formed to a cover body 12 which is opened and closed when a floppy disk 1 is attached and detached. At the same time, a pad 16 is stuck to the lower face of an angle plate 15 and at a position where the pad 16 is paired with a reference stage 10. The disk 1 is put on a flat plate 11 on a carriage 5, and the body 12 is closed. When an electromagnet 18 is energized, the plate 15 is pulled down against the contracting force of a spring 19. Thus the pads 16 plus 13 and 14 press the disk 1 to the stage 10. A plate 21 moves downward as the plate 15 moves downward. As a result, a read/write head 7 touches the surface of a magnetic disk along with an arm 22.
