Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten an access time and also elevate a location accuracy, by sticking one or more magnetic head parts on the surface of a bag body in the flexible and elastic form, supplying a high pressure fluid into its inside, and constituting a magnetic head device. CONSTITUTION:In case when information is written to a magnetic disk 2 or read out from it, when a high pressure fluid from the high pressure supply source 10 is supplied into the inside of the elastic bag body 6 through the communicating holes 7, 8, the bag body 6 swells and tensile force is given. On the surface of the bag body 6 is provided a magnetic head part 11 corresponding to the number of tracks of the magnetic disk 2, and the magnetic head part 11 is floated by a prescribed amount and is retained through a fluid film on the magnetic disk 2. When pressure of the high pressure fluid is varied by the pressure adjusting means 9, it is possible to not only adjust the space between the magnetic disk 2 and the magnetic head part 11 but also make the magnetic head part 11 follow the vibration and swell of the magnetic disk. In this way, it is possible to shorten an access time and also elevate a location accuracy.
