Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent wire breakage, by providing on the top surface of an unbaked insulating material sheet a heater layer and a lead wire which is connected to the end section of the heater layer by conductive paste, and also by laminating thereon in layers substrate raw material of the unbaked sheet and baking them. CONSTITUTION:On the top surface of an unbaked substrate raw material 11 which is prepared by cutting into a prescribed size of an alumina baking sheet, a heater layer 12 is formed by using conductive paste consisting of platinum powder. And, then, conductive paste of the type used for the heater layer 12 is put onto a tip section 13p of platinum wires 13a and 13b, and this tip section is brought into contact with terminal sections 12a and 12b of the heater layer 12. Further, an unbaked substrate raw material 15 which was cut to a prescribed size out from an unbaked alumina sheet is pressedly laminated on the surface of prepare an unbaked substrate 16. This substrate is backed to prepare a heater section of a gas sensor element. It is possible, by using this constitution, to prevent wire breakage of the heater layer and fluctuation of heater resistance value.
