Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a plurality of times of compression action for one rotation of the rotating shaft and to reduce a pulsation of the fluid by a method wherein a cubic cam which is integrally rotated with the rotating shaft is made to be a plurality of corrugated shapes. CONSTITUTION:Piston 1 which may be moved in parallel with a rotating shaft 2 within the housings 6 and 7 is assembled to a cubic cam 2' having there corrugations in a direction parallel to the rotating shaft 2 through the members 4 and the steel column rollers 3. Whenthe cubic cam 2' is rotated, the piston 1 is guided by the corrugations of the cam 2' to perform a reciprocating movement. Therefore, the compressed spaces a and b are compressed by times corresponding to the number of corrugations of the cubic cam 2' i.e. there times in response to one rotation of the rotating shaft 2.
