Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a volatile corrosion inhibitor having an especially superior effect of inhibiting corrosion on iron and iron alloy by adding 1 or >=2 kinds of salts selected from ammonium and amine salts of nitrobenzoic acid and ethylene urea. CONSTITUTION:A volatile corrosion inhibitor is obtd. by adding 1 or >=2 kinds of salts selected from ammonium and amine salts of nitrobenzoic acid, especially ammonium o-nitrobenzoate and diisopropylamine o-nitrobenzoate and ethylene urea. The blending wt. ratio between the nitrobenzoate and the ethylene urea is adjusted to 15:85-85:15, and preferably 50:50.
