PURPOSE:To prevent the layer shortcircuit of inner and outer double cylindrical coils at the end face of strands and to facilitate the bonding work in a coreless armature by assembling the inner and outer coils, plating the end face of the strands, and then welding by a laser between the strands to form a closed loop. CONSTITUTION:Coil strands 1 are reversely spirally wound to form inner and outer cylindrical coils 11, 12. Both coils 11, 12 are engaged integrally to form a coil unit 16. Metal plating 50 is formed on the end face of the strands of the unit 16, a laser light 14 is emitted between the inner and the outer coil strands to weld to bond them in an electrically closed loop. In this manner, the metal plates 50 raised on the end are welded, and layer shortcircuit can be preferably eliminated.
