Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled heat radiation paint having excellent oxidation resistance, applicable to the wall of an industrial furnace, the water-tube of a boiler heated at high temperature, etc. safely for a long period, and capable of improving the thermal efficiency of the apparatus, by adding a binder to a base material composed of powdery chrome iron ore.
CONSTITUTION: The objective heat radiation paint is prepared e.g. by compounding (A) powdery chrome iron ore having a particle size of finer than 100 mesh (85W95wt%), (B) clay for binder (4W8%), and if necessary (C) a dispersant (2W 5%) and a proper amount of water, and kneading the composition to homogeneous mixture. If necessary, refractory frit, etc. may be added to the mixture. The paint is applied to the furnace wall by spraying or brushing.
