Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain said foaming machine wherein the difference of inner and outer peripheral velocity in the foaming vessel is small and foaming ratio is intended to become uniform, by shaping some clearance at the outer periphery of a stirring shaft, providing a hollow cylinder concentrically, thus shaping the space for the staying place of preliminary foamed particle in the vessel. CONSTITUTION:The stirrring condition by the stirring impellor 3 in the staying place 11 of the raw particle supplied in the vessel 1 by the raw particle supplying apparatus 5 is improved by providing the hollow cylinder 10 around the stirring shaft 2. While the raw particle is heated to ca. 100 deg.C by steam blown from the steam supply slit 6 of the bottom of the vessel and heat expanded due to the foaming agent in the raw particle, shearing force becomes enough, so blocking amount is largely decreased.
