The mirror 13 reflects the incoming video light beam diagonally downward and makes it incident diagonally to a screen 14. On the screen 14, when the video light beam is made incident from the diagonal upper direction, this incident light beam is reflected by the lower surface side of each triangular prism element 14C, and vertically transmits through a screen body 14B. Accordingly, a diffusion spectrum distribution 14A in each point of the body 14B comes to have its directivity in front of the body 14B. In this way, when the video light beam is made incident diagonally onto the screen 14, size of the mirror 13 provided on the upper part of the back of the screen can be made small, by which depth size of the back of the screen of a cabinet can be made small.
