Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain numeric data in desired format easily and accurately, by selectively outputting converted numeric data in corresponding format in accordance with information on the format specified with regard to converted and displayed numeric data. CONSTITUTION:Numeric data expressed by, for example, Arabic numerals is inputted to an input circuit 1. This circuit 1 is provided with converting circuits 2a, and 2b-2n, and the numeric data is converted into numeric data of Roman numerals, etc., through those converting circuits. The converted numeric data is extracted successively through an output control circuit 4 consisting of a multiplexer, etc., switched by a selection information input circuit 3, and stored in a buffer memory 5 in prescribed array order. Then, numeric data are readout of this memory 5 and displayed. In another way, the numeric data in format which corresponds to inputted format specifying information is read out selectively and outputted on a printer, etc.
