Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the number of targets to a tracking radar device using an electronic scan antenna having the simultaneous target processing capacity, by giving the time sharing to the same pulse repetitive frequency by means of a gate signal generator. CONSTITUTION:A gate signal generator 8a gives the time sharing to the same pulse repetitive frequency and generates a gate signal in order to control many targets within the pulse repetitive frequency of a radar. This gate signal is applied to a beam direction controller 4, a transmitter 1a, a receiver 5, a distance measuring device 6a and an angle measuring device 7a respectively. Thus plural target specifications are obtained within the same pulse repetitive frequency. With the generation of such gate signal, a transmission pulse is produced for each target to avoid the overlap of the reception and arrival of the echo which is reflected from each target. As a result, the number of targets can be increased to a tracking radar device.
