Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to readily check the inside of the pipe having a relatively small inner diameter by providing a transparent, rod shaped, light converging part wherein a concave conical shape is provided at the tip of a light receiving surface of a camera device, and displaying a square image. CONSTITUTION:A rod shaped body 9, which comprises a light transmitting material and quides the reflected light of the image on the inner wall of the pipe 8 to an A/D converter 2, is connected to the tip, i.e., a light pick up surface of the camera tube 1 which is inserted in the pipe 8. A conical shaped concave part 10 having a vertical angle theta is formed at the tip of said rod shaped body 9. The reflected light of the image of the inner wall surface of the pipe 8 which is lighted by a light source 12 is inputted to the concave part 10 from the surrounding side of the rod shaped body 9, and the image which contracts in the direction to the center of a circular field of sight 14 is received. The obtained image signal is introduced into the A/D converter 2 in an image regenerating device 7, operated and processed by an image processing device 3 and a computer 4, and displayed on a image display device 6 as e.g. a developed image.
