Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the ink jet head wherein fine grooves are precisely formed, by bonding a substrate, wherein ink paths are provided, and an upper lid by a bonding agent comprising light hardening resin. CONSTITUTION:The fine grooves 2 which are to become the ink paths are provided on the surface of the epoxy resin substrate 1. The bonding agent 4 is applied on the bonding surface of the substrate 1 in order to bond the acrylic plate upper lid 3 to said substrate 1. The acrylic series light sensitive resin is uniformly applied as the bonding agent, and ultraviolet ray is irradiated to the resin from the top surface of the upper lid 3 for 5min by using a mercury light. Since the bonding agent 4 receives the light transmitted through a transparent upper lid 3, it is polymerized and hardened. When the bonding agent comprising such a light sensitive resin is used, heating is not required and the bonding is performed under the intact state the bonding agent is applied. Therefore, the blocking in the grooves 2, due to the oozing out of the bonding agent which is heated and whose viscosity is lowered which has aften occurred in the prior art, can be avoided.
