Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform loading or unloading from an appropriate shelf in a lading and unlading equipment wherein a plural number of fork devices are arranged by independently comparing and computing detected values from detectors related to those forks to control the travelling of the equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A lading and unlading equipment 3 which travels between shelves 1 each of which racks 2 are stacked up is provided with a plural number of forks 8, 9. Detectors 13, 14 related to each appropriate fork detect objects 11 to the detected which are arranged along a travelling course. A detected value from each detector is inputted into a controlling micro-computer 16 and compared with an input from a receiver 15 of a direction signal. The micro- computer controls a travelling motor 17 on the basis of that compared value, but the signals from respective detectors are independently processed to set stop positions, so that said control may be easily and surely performed.
