PURPOSE:To generate a voltage with nonlinearity easily and accurately by decomposing a nonlinear curve into a straight line from a staring to an ending point and square curves. CONSTITUTION:A triangular-wave signal generating circuit 100 indludes an operational amplifier 5 and a voltage comparator 9, and generates a triangular- wave voltage as a reference signal. A zero shifting circuit 200, on the other hand, includes operational amplifiers 16, 21 and 26 and sets the zero point of an input signal. A square characteristic voltage generating circuit 300 consists of voltage 34-36, transistor switches 43-45, and a CR circuit, and compares the output of the circuit 100 with an input voltage inputted through the circuit 200 to turn on and off the switches 43-45 in accordance the comparison result, generating a square characteristic voltage. The output is processed by level adjustment 400, and addition and polarity inversion 500.
