PURPOSE:To detect the transfer function of a close loop easily and accurately by correcting the variable of a model mechanism by a parameter correcting mechanism so that a difference between the output of the model mechanism and a detected position information from a machine variable part is minimized. CONSTITUTION:A position detector DET2 is fitted to the rotation part of a motor M separately from the position detector DET1 of a movable table MC, and position feedback is provided from both the MC and rotation part of the motor M. On a numeric control part NC side, a model mechanism MDL which approximates the characteristics of a machine driving system from the rotation part of the motor M to the MC and a parameter correcting mechanism PAS which corrects the parameter of the MDL are provided; and an input command is supplied to drive a machine tool actually, and detected position information is inputted to the MDL. So that a difference epsilon between its output and the detected position information from the DET1 is minimized, the variable of the MDL is corrected by PAS, and the corrected characteristics of the MDL are detected as those of said machine driving system.
