Abstract

PURPOSE:To get rid of influence of a variation of bias electric charge of a 1H delay line, to elevate the resolution and to remove a fixed pattern noise of an R signal and a B signal, by providing a specific sample holding circuit and a controlling circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:In an R signal 38 which is outputted from a CCD image pickup element 58 in which photodetectors 11-13 induced by each color light beam have been arrayed as shown in the figure, a black signal is contained at every scanning line. A stage difference signal 63 having the frequency of 1/2fH (fH=horizontal scanning frequency) and the amplitude being equal to a difference of a DC level is obtained by sample-holding a black signal in said R signal by a sample pulse 62 by use of a sample holding circuit 61. A controlling circuit 64 receives this state difference signal 63, and controls bias charge of a CCD1H delay line 23 so that amplitude of the stage difference signal 63 becomes zero.
