Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve camera sensitivity by using a trichromatic filter which shortens the storage time of color obtaining a high electric single from a signal pickup element and prolongs that of color for a low signal. CONSTITUTION:Through trichromatic resolving filter 3, light from subject 1 is image-formed on the photo detection surface of solid pickup element 4 by image- forming lens 2. Here, filter 3 uses a rotary filter which has longer integral time by a blue carrier filter of the lowest sensitivity with element 4 and shorter one by a red carrier filter of high sensitivity. The turning angle of this filter 3 is detected by turning-angle detector 6 and according to the detection signal, a voltage adequate for each color storage time is applied from driving circuit 7 to element 4 to accumulate charge and also to set the scanning timing of element 4 needed for a scanning speed. The signal of element 4 is temporarily stored in frame memories 10-12 via signal switch 8 and A/D converter 9 and then converted into NTSC signals by NTSC converter 13.
