Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to keep a preferable constant nozzle flow rate even in case of a turn-down condition by a method wherein a sectional area of flow passage of a nozzle is made to be variable and the sectional area of flow passage is varied in response to a turn-down ratio.
CONSTITUTION: Injection outlet ports at the leading ends of the gas air nozzles 1 and 2 are composed of a needle valve structure which includes needle seats 1a, 2a, gas needle 5 and air needle 6, fuel gas is injected from the central gas nozzle 1, combustion air is injected from the main air nozzle 2 and auxiliary air nozzles 3 and 4, a sectional area of flow passage in the gas nozzle 1 is adjusted under a movement of the gas needle 6 and further a sectional area of flow passage of the air nozzle 2 is adjusted under a movement of the air needle 5.
