Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare the microcapsule especially excellent in holding property of a core substance by subjecting an aminoaldehyde resin to polycondensation in a hydrophilic medium containing a hydrophobic oily liquid dispersed therein and an anionic colloidal substance in the presence of a functional epoxy compound. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophilic medium containing a hydrophobic oily liquid such as animal and vegetable oils or the like dispersed therein as a core substance and an anionic colloidal substance (e.g.; carboxy modified polyvinyl alcohol) is prepared. In this case, a content of the aforementioned colloidal substance in the hydrophilic medium is pref. 1.5-20wt%. Next, in said hydrophilic medium, an aminoaldehyde resin is subjected to polycondensation in the presence of a functional epoxy compound (e.g.; epichlorohydrin). As the aminoaldehyde resin, for example, a resin prepared by subjecting urea or the like and aldehydes such as HCHO or the like to polycondensation or copolycondensation is used. In this polycondensation reaction, a reaction system is pref. heated up to 200-100 deg.C.
