Abstract
PURPOSE:To form an uniform toner layer on a doner member without a blade by providing a ferrimagnetic material layer which has plenty of very small magnetic inversion zone inverted a direction of magnetic moment by means of emitting laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A thin layer of a ferrimagnetic alloy such as CdFe, CdCo, TbFe etc. is formed on a substrate 7 by means of high frequency sputtering method or metallizing etc. Then, by emitting laser beam onto the magnetic thin layers to endow outer magnetic field, plenty of very small magnetic inversion zones, of which the surfaces have matrix, striped and lattice like patterns, are formed. And donor member 5 are formed by winding the magnetic thin layers onto drum supporter 6 with the substrate. Also the donor member are formed directly by using the substrate as a supporter in itself. Then, toner are stuck uniformly onto the surface of donor member from the supporting member 9 by magnetic force and are absorbed and stuck electrostaticaly on to the latent image in the developing part.
