Abstract
PURPOSE: To make variations in temperature of hot-water meet requirements of a hot-water supply apparatus by a methd wherein output of a return-type nozzle used in a combustion output variable burner for the hot-water supply apparatus is contolled continuously in a range where an amount of atomizing is small and stepwisely in a range where an amount of atomizing is large.
CONSTITUTION: A slenoid valve 5 is disposed between a return-type nozzle 3 and a proportional control valve 4 of a burner. In a proportional control range, the valve 5 is fully opened to cause the valve 4 to operate such that return pressure P is almost proportionally varied from a point Pa to a point Pb. In a discontinuous stepwise control range, the valve 4 is so held that the return pressure becomes Pb when the valve 5 is opened, and the valve 5 is opened and closed to permit output control for the return nozzle in such a manner that a region from Qa to Qb is a continuous proportional region and a region from Qb to Qc is a discontinuous stepwise control region. The continuous proportional region is limited to such a regionas having a small amount of atomizing, so that variations in temperature of hot-water becomes small when the apparatus is used for shower bath and washing, while large amount of high temperature hot water is supplied at the stepwisely controlling region.
