Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a method of retaining internal pressure of a liquefied gas reservoir, wherein the gas evaporated in said reservoir is pumped to a throat section of an ejector in a liquefied gas shipping pipe where the gas is liquefied, so that the amount of the evaporated gas is regulated to keep the internal pressure of the reservoir constant. CONSTITUTION:The liquefied gas is reserved in the liquefied gas reservoir 1. After a necessary quantity of the liquefied gas is compressed to a certain pressure by a pump 5, it is shipped via the ejector 6 and a heater 7. On the other hand, the evaporated gas in a gaseous section 1a in the reservoir 1 is pumped by an on-off valve 11 and a blower 12 which are operated by a controller 13 that receives signals from the pump 5 and a pressure gauge 9 to a pressure lowering section of the throat section of the ejector 6, and is mixed as a liquefied gas into the former liquefied gas to be shipped.
