Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an undersize from occuring due to a dragging-up of the lower end of a sheet parison and bring the sheet parison into contact with cylindrical parison appropriately by clamping the lower end of the sheet parison, when producing a multi-layer hollow molded article by blow molding. CONSTITUTION:Between a pair of molds 4 and 5, parisons are simultaneously extruded from nozzles 9, 10 in parallel to each other, wherein a cylindrical parison 23 is extruded from the nozzle 9 and the sheet parison 24 is extruded in parallel from the nozzle 10. The lower end of the sheet parison 24 is then clamped by a fixed piece 17 and a movable piece 18 of a clamping device 11. Then, the molds 4, 5 are clamped by moving die plates 2, 3 closer to each other, thereby molding the parisons 23, 24. In this case, the sheet parison 24 having its lower end fixed by the clamping device 11 is appropriately brought into contact with the outside surface of the cylindrical parison 23 while being pressed by a guide roller 8 to provide a tension. Air is blown into the inside of the parison 23 through a blow pin 6 to blow up the parison 23 so as to press against the parison 24, and the molding is completed under the condition where the two parisons are pressed against each other by the pair of molds 4, 5.
