Abstract
PURPOSE:To recover increasing energy simply by connecting a synchronous generator to one shaft end of a turbine and connecting an induction generator to the other shaft end through a multiplying gear. CONSTITUTION:The synchronous generator 2 is connected to the shaft end at the power transmission side of the shaft furnace top pressure recovering turbine 1, and the induction generator 4 is connected to the shaft end at the reaction force transmission side through the multiplying gear 3. When the synchronous generator 2 is operated in the predetermined number of revolution, the number of revolution of the induction generator 4 is adjusted by means of the multiplying gear 3, and fixed load is shared. Accordingly, the increasing energy can be recovered without replacing the whole facility.
