Abstract

PURPOSE:To monitor an input signal even in a stop state by providing a recording and stop detecting circuit and by setting a recording state according to its detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A recording and stop detecting circuit 7 outputs a signal for switching an electronic recording/playback changeover switch S1 to a recording side in a recording or stop state. Therefore, the electronic switch S1 is switched to the recording side (REC side) even in the stop state, and a microphone or external signal is applied to a noise reducing circuit 3 through switches S2 and S1. Then, its output is supplied to headphones 5 through a headphones amplifier 4. Thus, the input signal is monitored even in the stop state.
