At the same time, the standard patern is processed by D/A conversion 16 and recorded on the magnetic tape. Then, a selecting means 19 is put in operation to set a fast-forwarding or rewinding state, and the standard pattern stored in the storage means 17 is compared with that recorded on the magnetic tape by a comparing means 18. Then the magnetic tape comes to a desired signal part selected by the selecting means 19, a tape recorder is set in a reuse state by the output of the comparing means 18. Thus, the desired signal part is selected automatically.
