Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition having low rolling frictional resistance, high wet skid, improved fracture characteristics and frictional properties, obtained by blending rubber with a specific amorphous polybutadiene containing a polymer having a bond of a specified metal and carbon.
CONSTITUTION: Rubber, e.g., natural rubber, cis-polyisoprene rubber, polybutadiene rubber having 1W60wt% 1,2 bond, etc. is blended with amorphous polybutadiene containing at least ≥20wt%, preferably ≥40wt% polymer with a bond of carbon and a metal selected from Si, Ge and Sn in the molecular chain, having ≥60wt%, preferably ≥80wt% 1,2 bond, and a Mooney viscosity of 20W150 in such a way that the amount of the amorphous polybutadiene is at least ≥ 20wt%, preferably 30W80wt% based on a composition. The use of polybutadiene having Sn-C bond chain provides an improved rolling frictional resistance.
