Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit a constant and stable electric power to be supplied independently of a large variation in load by rectifying a commercial A.C. voltage and applying a voltage within a fixed range near its peak value to be thermosensitive recording elements. CONSTITUTION:A rectified voltage by obtained by rectifying a commercial A.C. voltage (a) in a full-wave rectifier circuit 2 is passed through, if necessary, a constant voltage circuit 3 and applied to each series circuit comprising a thermosensitive recording element 4 and a driving circuit 5 as well as to a zero-crossing detector 8, which detects zero volts in the rectified voltage (b) and generates a pulse (c) having a frequency synchronized with the rectified voltage (b). Accordingly, a timer 9 generates a signal (d) which determines the recording starting time for the thermosensitive recording elements 4, and accordingly a timer 10 generates a signal (a) which determines the recording time for driving the elements 4. Thereby, in synchronism with a clock pulse (f), picture data (j) for one line is inputted to a shift register 7, and a recording preparation completion signal (g) is inputted to an AND gate 11 to open the gate.
