Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the devide inexpensive by processing photodetecting signals for focusing in a digital processing circuit and generating a focus detection signal as well as by processing a photometric signal for exposure detection in the same digital processing circuit via an analog input device and generating an exposure signal.
CONSTITUTION: A subject 1 is projected into a photodetecting device 4 via a photographic optical system 2 and a translucent mirror 3. The signals from the respective photodetectors of the photodetecting device 4 are sent via a parallel type AD converter 6 to a central controlling circuit 7, and after the arithmetic processing, a focus detection signal is outputted. On the other hand, F number, ASA value, aperture value and shutter speed value necessary for determining exposure are inputted via an analog input device 12. The light from a photodetector 13 for photometry inputs to the central controlling circuit 7 via the input device 12 and analog switch 5 then through the AD converter 6, so that an exposure determining signal is outputted. Since the analog input device 12 is an inexpensive circuit consisting of a resistance array, the device may be made inexpensive.
