Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve brazing by completely eliminating residual carbon after baking, by using copper powder and polyalkylene glycol or its derivative. CONSTITUTION:As polyalkylene glycol, any of polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol and a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide is useable, and as a polyalkylene glycol derivative, polyalkylene glycol alkyl ether is most favorably used. Copper powder may use electrolytic copper powder prepared by the electrolysis of aqueous copper sulfate, atomized powder obtained by spraying fused copper, secondary sinter powder ground after further sintering the electrolytic copper powder in a reducible atmosphere, atomized alloy powder pulverized by fusing and spraying copper alloy, etc. As a viscosity modifier, water is used.
