Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to change the transferring direction of a panel-shaped body in accordance with the sizes, introducing directions and delivery directions of various kinds of the panel-shaped bodies by a method wherein a contractable link mechanism is utilized and the supporting point of a lever is made free in selection.
CONSTITUTION: Respective lengths of the first lever 9, the second lever 14 and a connecting rod 20 are adjusted into proper lengths and are fixed while a setting table 18 on a supporting point position setting board 15 is moved to a proper position and is fixed to the board 15 by a magnet. The panel-shaped body 2 introduced onto a table 3 is being floated by air from air nozzles 1. An air cylinder 21 and a small-stroke air cylinder 24 are operated to attract the panel-shaped body 2 by a sucking instrument 25. Next, the driving source of the link mechanism is operated to change the direction of the panel-shaped body 2. Thereafter, the panel-shaped body 2 is released from the sucking instrument 25 while the rods of the air cylinders 21, 24 are contracted and are returned to the initial waiting positions thereof by operating the link mechanism driving source into the reverse direction.
