Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable plasticizing of plastic substance for weighing under a prescribed condition by arranging a plunger mechanism for injection on the same horizontal plane with a plasticizing mechanism retained at a fixed position and by providing a specific chamge-over valve between both mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:The screw-type prelimnary plasticizing mechanism 32 is retained at a prescribed position, while the plunger mechanism 17 is provided on the same horizontal plane with the mechanism 32, and a valve core 25 is providd between them. When the valve core 25 is elevated by the operation of a piston 29, the discharge port 18 of the plasticizing mechanism 32 is communicated with the supply- dischage port 19 of the plunger mechanism 17 by a circular concave groove 31 provided on the valve core, the liquefied substance melted in the plasticizing mechanism 17 is supplied to a pot in the cylinder of the plunger mechanism 17 and is weighed and reseved therein. When the valve core 25 is lowered, a lateral hole 30 provided therein is communicated with the supply-discharge port 19 of the plunger mechanism 17, the plunger 38 is pressed by the operation of a piston 40, and thereby the weighed melted substance in the pot is extruded outside through a pasage 26 and a nozzle 27.
