Abstract

PURPOSE:To safely change upper and lower dies in short time by providing a freely movable changing truck between the working position at the front of a vertical type spinning machine and an apart retreating position and providing the changing base of the upper and lower dies freely movably between the truck and spinning machine on the truck. CONSTITUTION:At the drawing time of an upper die 5 an upper die changing base 10 is inputted into the spinning machine 1 after stopping a changing truck 9 at the work position A at the front of the spinning machine 1, the upper die 5 is mounted thereon and the upper die changing base 10 is returned onto the changing truck 9. At a lower die drawing time, then, a lower die changing device 11 is inputted into the spinning machine 1. A lower die 6 is mounted thereon. At a new die fitting time, also, it is executed with the reverse procedure to the above. Since there are two units of a die changing device 8 one may be used for drawing an old die and the other for fitting a new die. Or one part may be used for the upper die 5 and the other for the lower die 6.
