Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an excellent operating performance by arranging so that only a date indication wheel turns when a calendar correction wheel is turned in one direction and only a day of week indication wheel turns when the said correction wheel is turns in the other direction.
CONSTITUTION: Both indication wheels 16, 18 are corrected by means of a calendar correction shaft 32 positioned at right angle almost in the middle between the said both indication wheels 16, 18. In other words, the calendar correction shaft 32 slides along its axis in a rectangular direction, axially supported on a machine frame 14 in a freely movable fashion. A energizing spring 36 is provided between the bottom 14 a of the machine frame 14 and a stopper ring 34, so that the calendar correction shaft 38 is always actuated upward. The calendar correction wheel 38 is formed in monoblock form on the calendar correction shaft 32. In the neighborhood of end surfaces opposed to the both indication wheels 16, 18, a date correction ratchet mechanism 40 and a day of week correction ratchet mechanism 42 are provided. Through the intermediary of the both ratchet mechanisms 40, 42, a correction rotary force of the correction shaft 32 is transmitted to either of the indication wheels 16, 18.
