Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce load by calendar mechanism by providing a wheel which engages to the wheel driving the calendar display wheel of an analog type watch and rotates at the same rotating speed and providing a jumper releasing member to this wheel.
CONSTITUTION: A calendar driving pawl 8 starts acting on the tooth part 1a of a calendar display wheel 1 from about 2 hours before the calendar switching time of the calendar to give clockwise rotation to the calendar display wheel. On the other hand, a jumper driving pawl 11 starts acting upon the end 4b of a jumper 4 before the calendar driving pawl 8 starts acting upon the calendar driving wheel 1 to raise the jumper and begin to release the force acting upon the calendar display wheel 1.
