Abstract

PURPOSE: To remarkably reduce a residual strain of a resin layer caused by thermal shrinkage, by coating an outside surface of a corrosion preventing layer with a special adhesion preventing agent which shows a low shear strength at a high temperature but a high shear strength at an ambient temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A surface of a steel pipe 1 is coated with an anticorrosion layer 11 including a plastic film as a primary coat. An adhesion preventing layer is formed on the surface of the anticorrosion layer, by applying an adhesion preventing agent onto the surface with a coater 6. The adhesion preventing agent is, for example, a high melting point wax, an apliphatic hydrocarbon mixture or a mixture of these substances with a copolymer of polyethylene and polypropylene. This adhesion preventing layer has the feature that its shear strength is low at a high temperature but high at an ambient temperature.
