Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten a distance between the top surface of a cable and a track surface by a method wherein a cable bundle formed of calbes wound-up by plural turns is covered with a hood of FRP and buried in a track concrete. CONSTITUTION:The cable bundle formed of cables wound-up by plural turns is buried in a concrete base of track with the FRP hool 4 remaining put thereon. With such a construction, the FRP hood 4 can not be cracked therethrough even by a force trying to cause the cable 1 to be floated upward the track, due to a shearing strength of FRP, and the thickness t2 of the concrete base 2 measured from the track can be made large as well against cracks appearing at the end of FRP hood 4.
