Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a good sine-wavelike output voltage while improving the generation efficiency with an inhibited heat generation of the field winding by changing the sectional area of pawls on the side of a stator core gradually in such a manner that the magnetic resistance grows larger progressively toward the tips thereof. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 4 is wound concentratedly with an armature winding 3 on one side thereof while four pawls A-D are separately projected to form a chamber for housing a rotor core 5 at a point adjacent to the armature winding 3. The rotor core 5 is wound concentratedly with a field winding 6 while four pawls E-H are formed projecting on the field winding 6 section. The stator core 4 and rotor core 5 are so constructed that the magnetic flux is distributed over the entire are a by properly changing the magnetic resistance against the magnetomotive force of the field winding 6 due to interaction between the pawls A-H according to the rotation of the rotor core 5. In addition, the pawls of the stator core 4 are so arranged that the magnetic resistance grows larger progressively toward the tips thereof while the sectional area of each pawl is changed gradually.
