Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the position of a lifting member automatically and lift bobbins with certainty even if the lifting member is not corresponding to spindles accurately, by engaging a movable bobbin lifting member with the spindles in the lifting parts via a guide slope. CONSTITUTION:A doffing machine is moved along a spinning frame 1 and stopped corresponding to a plurality of spindles 2. A lifting member 10 and guide pieces 15 are advanced integrally with a driving shaft 6 to engage lifting parts 12 with spindle large-diameter parts 2e of bobbins 3. Thus, slopes 12a at the bottom of the lifting parts 12 are engaged with the shoulder parts 2d of the spindles 2. If the centers of the spindles 2 and the lifting part 12 are in misalignment due to the shift of the stopping position, a guide slope 15a of one of the two projecting guide pieces 15 is engaged with a warp flange 2e of the spindle 2. The centers of the lifting parts 12 are then moved along the slope 15a to the centers of the spindles 2, and the position is accurately corrected. Full bobbins 3 are then lifted.
