Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform an effective skid control when a quick damping and a quick acceleration are repeated by a method wherein a desired value setting part is reset when an output of a timer, which outputs for a given time every time a wheel speed is detected, is stopped.
CONSTITUTION: A signal from a wheel speed sensor 2 is entered into a damping desired value generation circuit which defines a damping desired value at every skid cycle. A swimmer circuit 4 is actuated by a trigger pulse generated every time the damping desired value generation circuit 3 defines a damping desired value, and when the trigger pulse is not entered again within a given time, it outputs a reset signal eR and resets the damping desired value generation circuit. A skid control part 5 controls a brake oil pressure in answer to the damping desired value. When a quick acceleration is performed during damping, a timer circuit outputs a reset signal, therefore, a damping desired value is defined newly and the skid control corresponds to a traveling condition.
