Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a damping control when passing through a curve route by a method wherein a damping desired value of each of left and right wheels is generated sequentially, and if the left value differs from the right one, a damping desired value of the wheel having a shorter update period is used.
CONSTITUTION: A signal from a wheel speed sensor 3 installed on the left and right front wheels 1R.1L is entered into a skid control circuit 8 via a desired value generation circuit 4 and an analog switch S to actuate an oil pressure adjusting device 9. A time detection circuit 5 detects a skid cycle time and an output of a comparison circuit 6, which compares with a given time, actuates the analog switch S. When the left and right cycle time is equal, an S1 and an S2 are turned on, and an S3 and an S4 are turned off, therefore, the left circuit is independent from the right circuit. When a left turning is performed and the cycle time of a left wheel becomes longer, the output of the comparison circuit 6L turns the S2 off and turns the S4 on, as a result, the right side signal controls the skid of both wheels.
