CONSTITUTION:Picture information on a plurality of picture elements is obtained from an original and half tones are expressed by binary information obtained by comparing the picture element level of each picture element of the picture information with each numeral of the dizzer matrix stored in a memroy. Then, the number of lines of dizzer matrixes stored in the memory is set to the common multiple of the number of lines of basic dizzer matrixes having a required number of matrixes to obtain a desired number of gradations and the number of parallel-processed picture elements.
