Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a back plate needless, by providing a rigid body disc which is opposite to a flexible magnetic disc and is rotated together with it in one body.
CONSTITUTION: Flexible disc 1 and rigid body disc 5 are fixed by stop ring 6 coaxially and are rotated. Though narrow gap 9 is formed between these discs by a fluid force due to rotating air force, air pressure of ring concave part 7 between flexible disc 1 and rigid body disc 5 is made positive slightly because this fluid resistance is large. The gap of ring concave part 7 is several millimeters or less, and the air current flowing from air hole 8 is not turbulent, so that abnormal oscillation of the flexible disc is suppressed.
