Abstract

PURPOSE:To collect a sound of low sound pressure excellently while preventing the take-up sound, etc., of a film from being collected by a microphone even when the microphone is arranged near a camera in object photographing by adjusting directivity characteristics of the microphone in accordance with the turning of a focus ring or zoom ring. CONSTITUTION:In a microphone used for a cinecamera, circular vibrators A1 A-A6, B1-B6 and C1-C6 of piezoelectric films are arranged and the cinecamera is provided with variable resistor 8 which can adjust directional pattern of the microphone in accordance with the turning of a focus ring or zoom ring. Then variable resistor 8 detects how much the focus or zoom ring is turned and its detection signal is passed through A/D converter 10 and then applied to variable gain amplifiers E1-E18 that amplify the outputs of vibrators A1-A6, B1-B6 and C1-C6. Further, the outputs of amplifibers E1-E18 are applied to amplifiers F1-F3 at the final stage, where they are amplified being divided by vibrators A1-A6, B1-B6 and C1-C6 to vary the whole directional pattern of the microphone in accordance with the turning of the focus or zoom ring.
