Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the highly precise height of a table on which a work to be measured is placed, by keeping a center stage, ring stage and chuck close to each other and turning or shifting them in the X-axis and Y-axis direction.
CONSTITUTION: For X and Y adjustment, feed screws 25, 26 are turned to shift a ring stage 23 and center stage 22 which strongly stick to each other in the Z-axis direction (height) for positioning on an X-Y plane. For further fine adjustment, a handle 27 is turned to shift an oscillating pin 34 against a spring force for fine turning of the center stage 22. A work is held by a chuck 31 which is close to the stages 22, 23, being adjusted in the X- and Y-axis direction, for positioning with regard to a machining device with which the work is machined.
