Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a rotary squeezing apparatus capable to efficiently conduct the dehydration of slurry, by generating a filtering layer made of a foreign matter separated from the treating liquid in the space between a cylindrical body of the porous material and an edge of a screw fin.
CONSTITUTION: Slurry 35 is fed to a feeding port 13 through a feeder pipe 14 after a pump 15 has been operated for a certain period of time, and charged into a cylindrical body 4 through an inducing hole 12 and primarily subjected to the squeezing action by wire nets 8, 9 and 10. Then, the slurry is sent downward in the cylindrical body with a screw fin 12 by the rotation of a rotary shaft 7.
