Abstract
PURPOSE: To conduct the welding so as to be bonded with high strength between jointing materials, by making holes and grooves, etc. on jointing surface of the material hard to deform under the condition of hot hydraulic press treatment and arranging another material easy to deform on the former's surface and conducting the operation of hot hydraulic pressing.
CONSTITUTION: Under the condition of hot hydraulic press molding process (described below as HIP process), many perforating straight holes 1 are provided on the material B1 hard to deform and the material of same kind B2 is also provided with perforating holes of reverse wedge type 2, i.e. each holes has a small diameter at the side facing to the material easy to deform A2 and a large diameter at the side facing to the same kind of material B3. These materials of different kinds are filled up in an air tight vessel 3 as shown in the attached drawing and after the air in vessel evacuated by vacuum pump (not shown in the drawing) connected to a deaeration pipe 4, the deaeration pipe 4 is plugged and sealed and then, the vessel 3 is placed inside HIP treating apparatus and subjected to the treatment of HIP process. By such treatment, the materials easy to deform A1, A2 are penetrated by means of their plastic deformation from both sides into holes 1 of the material hard to deform and thus these materials of different kinds are closely bonded by diffusion welding.
