Abstract

PURPOSE:To make operation simple by providing parts which display the functions to be executed by the next operation of external operating means to part of a display and changing the displays one after another by the operation of switches. CONSTITUTION:The watch is formed of a side button switch 5, a front button switch 6 and its function display 7, a front button switch 8 and its function display 9, 7 segment displays 10-12 of every 2 digits and display of a day of the week. The switch 5 is a mode change-over switch which changes over modes cyclically every time when it is pushed once. Segments of three words are provided to the function displays 7 and 9. The functions to be executed by the next operation are display in such a way that, in the mode of time correction, SET is lighted for the switch 6 and SELECT for the switch 8 and therefore, the user is simply required to operate the switches according to the displays, and this enables the operations to be made extremely simple.
