Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the selection and correction of modes while reducing the size by providing a mode selection touch switch on the display. CONSTITUTION:On a display surface 10 of a time piece, only mode selection touch switches 12, 14 and 16 and a correction changing touch switch 24 appear in the normal operation except for indication of desired time or hour. These switches are shown by mode switch position indications 18, 20 and 22 and a correction changing switch position 26 corresponding thereto in the position display. In the normal operation, a correction number touch key 28 and a correction digit selection touch switch 30 disappear on the display surface 10. The display surface 10 comprising optoelectronic display elements has functions of displaying the current time, alarming and displaying day and month.
